There are two types of teeth replacement options, one being fixed and one being removable, so the most common one for removal would be in the form of dentures, which patients are normally aware of. Otherwise, fixed options include an implant where an oral surgeon places a titanium screw in the jaw bone and we place a tooth on top. Otherwise a bridge, which is when the adjacent teeth to the gap have crowns placed on them and a replacement tooth is joined to those crowns in the laboratory to form a bridge. The bridge is then cemented permanently.
