Paying for dental care can look different for every patient. At Absolute Dental, we accept a range of health funds, payment methods and eligible payment plans. Our team can explain the fees associated with your treatment and discuss the payment options available before you proceed.

Health Funds

HICAPS

We have HICAPS facilities available at the practice, allowing eligible patients to process participating health fund claims at the time of their appointment.

HBF

Absolute Dental participates in HBF Members’ Plus. Your rebate and out-of-pocket costs will depend on your level of cover and the treatment provided.

nib

Absolute Dental participates in the nib First Choice Network for eligible practitioners and services.

Please note: Specialist Prosthodontist Dr Michelle Huang is not affiliated with the nib schedule. Fees for specialist treatment with Dr Michelle may therefore differ from nib First Choice Network scheduled fees. Please contact our team or nib if you would like to check your expected rebate before treatment.

Other Payment Options

Afterpay

Eligible patients may use Afterpay for approved dental treatment and divide the cost into four instalments over six weeks. Approval, eligibility criteria and Afterpay terms apply.

Humm

Humm provides eligible patients with payment options that may help spread treatment costs over time. Approval, fees and eligibility criteria apply.

National Dental Plan

National Dental Plan is available for eligible patients who would like to spread the cost of their dental treatment over time. Approval, fees and repayment terms apply.

Zip

Zip may be available as a payment option for eligible patients. Approval, account limits, fees and terms are determined by Zip.

SuperCare

SuperCare provides information and assistance relating to eligible treatment funding arrangements. Eligibility and approval requirements apply.

Government Dental Schemes

Dental Care for DVA Card Holders

Eligible Department of Veterans’ Affairs card holders may be able to access dental treatment under DVA arrangements. Eligibility and treatment coverage depend on DVA requirements and individual circumstances.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)

Eligible children may receive access to selected dental services through the Australian Government’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Eligibility and benefit limits are determined by Services Australia.

Ways to Pay at the Practice

Payments can be made with cash, EFTPOS, credit card, HICAPS, AMEX, cheque or direct deposit.

We collect payment on the day of service. If you have a treatment plan that includes future visits, we will let you know what will be done at each visit and discuss the costs involved before your appointment. Absolute Dental also offers payment options through Afterpay and the National Dental Plan.
